Susen and Sam were married on a warm and bright summer day, surrounded by the Catskill mountains and all of the people who love them. The ceremony took place at Seven Ponds Farm, an incredible venue in upstate New York. The venue has specialized in farm to dining and destinations weddings for 15 years. It was just one part of their perfect day: Susen wore a BHLDN wedding dress with classic updo & veil, while Sam wore navy suit and pants with a light pink tie — the tie complimented the bridesmaids’ dresses!

When they started planning their wedding they knew they wanted to plan outside the city and that’s when they found their dream venue in Seven Ponds Farm.

Early on in their wedding planning journey they knew they wanted to find something outside the city. When they found Seven Ponds Farms, Susen and Sam knew it was their dream venue. The couple loved the idea of getting married outside with mountain views. The option of having family and friends stay onsite during the festivities was also a bonus. They were able to reserve the historic farmhouse on the property leading up to and after their big day. This ensured everyone could have a relaxing time before heading home!

Seven Ponds Farm is a mini destination wedding venue for people looking to escape the city for their special day. Not only does it have beautiful views and a large historic farmhouse for family members and bridal party members, but some of the ponds you are able to swim in. Besides it’s own 100+ acres of land to explore, there are plenty of activities nearby if you want to plan something fun during your stay. Or you could just enjoy relaxing.

The day was full of sweet moments between the two of them as well as family and friends who have known them for so long.

The ceremony was a celebration of their love for each other, and what better way to do that than with people who were there from the start? Filled with so many personal touches, this helped to truly make it feel like their day from start to finish!

The celebrations began with a traditional Chinese tea ceremony with just the immediate family the day before. On their wedding day, Sam did the breaking of the glass at the conclusion of their ceremony. At the start of their reception, their first dance concluded with the hora!

The celebration honored their different cultural backgrounds while still feeling completely unique to them as individuals–from the bridal party’s pale pink colored dresses ), to the venue itself.

Sam and Susen had a beautiful wedding at Seven Ponds Farm. The weather was perfect, the venue was gorgeous and everyone had a great time! I wish them all the best in their new life together. If you would like to talk about your wedding at Seven Ponds, let’s chat!
