joy of gathering
Cheers to the
to the food and the music... the conversation made and the memories shared.
You two know: this is what matters.
The experience of gathering all those who love you and celebrating in a vibrant, heartfelt, authentic way.
That is a beautiful thing, and it deserves to be documented with every bit of thought and care that you put into creating today.
I'd love to document everything that makes this day yours.
Your aesthetic is *chef’s kiss*. You can see it in the vibrant florals that tap into memory and in the location that’s actually lived. These details matter not because you were told they do, but because they intrinsically hold meaning to you. They’ve got a history, a story — just like you two.
It all transforms to art through the lens of my camera. I’ll use light and composition, my keen eye and expert guidance to capture the unique ways in which you and your people intersect with the details you intentionally chose.

“Tonya is a magician photographer.”
She was so easy to work with, passionate about her photography, and beyond organized leading up to and during our wedding. Our couple pictures were amazing — I don’t take many pictures of myself and was worried that I might feel uncomfortable, but she put us totally at ease and the results speak for themselves.

Everything I do—from planning to photos—is done with purpose and intent.
Wedding collections start at $4,350 with a range of thoughtful additions you can customize to your vision — think engagement sessions, rehearsal dinner coverage, albums, and boudoir. Most couples spend an average of $7,650.
After you fill out my simple contact form, I’ll respond within 48 hours and set up our initial call. I want to get to know you and hear all about your vision.
Working with you (or your planner), I’ll build a custom photo timeline that considers your priorities. That way you’re never wondering what happens next.
Vendor recs, resources, guides — I share all my knowledge with you as you’re planning. You can count on me to fully understand exactly who you are and what you want most.
My prep work means you can simply be present for your day, confident I’ve got the rest. I’ll guide you through photos but always step back to let you soak up the experience.
Your story is captured with artistry and intention. I hand-edit all images with an eye toward the story of the day. Your gallery will be delivered 12 weeks after your wedding day.
I offer a mix of digital and analog film wedding photography to all of my couples.
Film has seen a resurgence, but it’s a medium I’ve loved for years — so much so that I rehabbed the darkroom in the barn of my Connecticut farmhouse. (I know, finding a property that came with a darkroom? The farmhouse was fate.) Today, the darkroom is part of my lofted studio space where I also offer boudoir and editorial services.
Film is perfect for weddings, in my opinion. It reminds us all to slow down, to notice. It’s not sharp and immediate, but feels tactile, grainy, true. Maybe a little blurred at the edges, perhaps slightly out of focus. Like the very best memories of the very best days.
I strive to give all my photography—digital and film—the same quality. Interested in film? Let’s talk about it on our initial call.

Equals magic? Of a sort.
The emotional weight of your photography grows over time. It becomes a way to remember … the time that is passed and the people who are gone. Those printed photos take you back.
I design custom, heirloom-quality albums and prints for my couples that are archival quality and made to pass down to the next generation.
Because computers die. But printed images endure.
There's no such thing as “Perfect”
Which is great, because you’re seeking something much better
