Kaaterskill Falls Elopement: Victoria + Gino

Last October I had the absolute pleasure of capturing Victoria and Gino’s Kaaterskill Falls elopement. Elopements have change a lot from the way they used to be perceived. No more is it consider a quick, last minute wedding. Elopements today allow couples to spend money and time on the things that they truly care about. As was the case with this Kaaterskill Falls elopement.

Victoria and Gino contacted me at the end of 2019 knowing that they wanted to have a small celebration. They stressed that photos were what they cared most about. We discussed locations for epic pictures, Airbnbs to stay in, and the best way to go about making their dream elopement come true. I told told them about The Adventure Elopement package I offered. Which included the photography they wanted, as well as florals, planning, and an officiant. When they decided on their Airbnb of choice, The Hunter Greenhouse, I knew we had to do photos at Kaaterskill Falls.

Leading up to the wedding day, I helped Victoria and Gino find the rest of the vendors they needed. It is always so wonderful being able to suggest fellow vendors to my couples. After being in this industry for a sometime, I have an amazing preferred vendor list that I am always happy to share.

I headed up to the Catskills early in the morning on the day of their elopement. It was the literal perfect October day. The sun was shining and it was the perfect temperature. I drove further North I began to get excited at how many fall colors I was starting to see.
